Louis CK will not voice any new cartoon voices in 2018, either

Louis CK starred as the voice of a dog in the 2016 film, The Secret Life of Pets, but two other animated projects featuring the comedian’s voice have been recast or scrapped in the wake of his sexual harassment confession last fall.

The Disney Channel confirmed that CK’s role of “The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity” in multiple episodes of Disney XD’s Gravity Falls had been “rerecorded approximately one month ago” by the series creator, Alex Hirsch.

Meanwhile, TBS has officially canceled work on The Cops, which would have been a new animated series (previously ordered for 10 episodes) co-created and voiced by CK with Albert Brooks. The network already had laid off the animators over Thanksgiving.

FX also announced this week during the winter TV Critics Association press tour that CK no longer had any professional or personal involvement in any of the series he’d helped launch on that network, which include Better Things and Baskets.
