Netflix to stream Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen’s next Hilarity For Charity event

Comedy acting couple Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen have a new partner for their program Hilarity For Charity (HFC), which raises awareness and money among millennials to help deal with and fight Alzheimer’s.

It’s Netflix!

HFC hosted its third annual New York City variety show this June, raising more than $400,000 and featuring performances by Amy Schumer, Colin Jost, Jim Gaffigan and Paul Rudd.

They’d planned to throw their bigger, original Los Angeles benefit this month, but will postpone to the spring so they can present it also via Netflix.

Here’s the full statement, via Hilarity for Charity:

We are excited to announce that Netflix has come on board as a presenting sponsor and will be streaming our 6th Annual Los Angeles Variety Show taking HFC global! Because of this amazing partnership, our 6th Annual Variety Show will be our biggest and most exciting show to date as the whole world will be able to tune in and support our fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The variety show will be taped in front of a live audience in early 2018 and streamed on Netflix shortly thereafter. The elevated scale of this variety show means we need to shift the event from October 14, 2017 to early 2018 to accommodate new production needs.

This will be the same variety show you’ve enjoyed in years past, only bigger and better than ever allowing us to raise even more funds to help in our fight against Alzheimer’s disease. This partnership will mark the first time the Hilarity for Charity Variety Show will be available across the globe. We are continually in awe by the growth and impact of HFC. What started as 5 friends putting on a variety show to raise some money for Alzheimer’s disease, has turned into something so much bigger than we ever expected. We are thrilled that Netflix will broaden our impact around the world. Please email HFC@mtaevents.com for ticketing questions.
