But when I tell you that Tuesday night’s Conan also included Hank Azaria as a guest, then you’ll probably want to know, as I did, whether Azaria stuck around to hear Das mock fake Indian accents such as Azaria’s Apu from The Simpsons, or whether Das met Azaria backstage. Das released his first Netflix special on Tuesday, and celebrated with his American late-night TV debut on TBS, joking about how Indian is the best kind of brown-skinned human to be on this planet in these uncertain times. He also delivers a medley of bits from the Netflix special.
