The Tonight Show under Jimmy Fallon has demonstrated a comforting throwback trend when it comes to stand-up comedy, in allowing or convincing (whatever the case may be) stand-up comedians to actually perform a few minutes onstage proper instead of (but also in addition to) sitting on the panel to chat with Fallon to promote their latest specials. Latest case in point: Jeff Foxworthy, who just put out a new Netflix comedy special with Larry the Cable Guy.
Foxworthy did retell part of his closer while sitting with Fallon, hinting about the pains of passing a kidney stone.
But he also first told a few jokes from his “Facts of Life” routine. Which, sadly, contains no references to Tootie or Blair. Roll the clip.
