Bobby Moynihan tells David Letterman about his SNL audition

Bobby Moynihan stars in the upcoming FX animated series, Chozen, which brought him on a promotional visit Thursday to Late Show with David Letterman.

But Letterman also wanted to know just how Moynihan got on Saturday Night Live to begin with; for starters, performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for years in New York City. For another, having weird impersonations on your audition tape, such as “Silent Bob,” Snagglepuss, and Nathan Lane selling hamburgers. Can you give us a little bit of that Nathan Lane impersonation?

Dave asks on behalf of all of us, and Bobby gracefully complies.

Roll the clip!
