Russell Peters on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

For someone who is one of the biggest stand-up comedy draws in the world, Russell Peters doesn’t appear all that often on the American late-night talk show circuit. Peters recently did Jimmy Kimmel Live for the first time in seven years, and last night performed for the first time on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

In this performance, Peters jokes about how cheap his father was, the trauma of watching childbirth, then wanting his daughter to learn Spanish so she’s bilingual — unlike Peters’ Indian father, whose accent still hasn’t softened since immigrating to Canada in the 1960s.
