“Goon,” a charmingly violent hockey movie with heart

Sports movies, eh? No, I meant that in a Canadian way, because that’s where most of Goon takes place. Goon, made available a month ago On Demand, debuted on only a handful of movie screens over the weekend. “CBS Knows Sex,” but “Two and a Half Men” co-creator prefers penis jokes to vagina jokes

Lee Aronsohn, co-creator of Two and A Half Men as well as an executive producer another CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, had this to say over the weekend at the Toronto Screenwriting Conference about this year’s crop of female-centered sitcoms: “Enough ladies. I get it. You have periods.” And also this: “We’re approaching peak vagina on television, the point of labia saturation.” Guess he prefers his show’s dick jokes over vagina jokes. Hmmm. Adam Sandler, “Jack & Jill” achieve Razzies first by sweeping worst movie awards of 2011
