The end of August brings with it the end of the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the festival’s Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards were handed out Saturday afternoon.
This year’s big winners:
- 2011 Best Comedy Show Award: Adam Riches, “Bring Me the Head of Adam Riches“
- 2011 Best Newcomer Award: Humphrey Ker, “Dymock Watson: Nazi Smasher!“
- 2011 Panel Prize Award: The Wrestling
