by First Dane Cook, now Doug Stanhope?!?! Louis CK is bringing in some big comedy guns for season two of his groundbreaking cinema verite TV series, Louie. From the title of this clip, it’d appear that Stanhope, unlike Cook, is not playing himself, but rather CK’s “old friend,” “Eddie.”
Although he still has to have a car filled with porn. Obviously. The episode airs Thursday, Aug. 11, on FX (note: two episodes of Louie play back-to-back this week, so set your DVRs and TiVos accordingly).

P.S. And yes, of course, he’s also had Joan Rivers playing herself this season, and every so often, Todd Barry as Todd Barry gets to put “Louie” back in his place. Looking forward to what comes next!

Doug Stanhope was very excellent on the show, Even though I laughed out loud, It left such an impression on me without being too melodramatic. I love “Louie” but sometimes the episodes are so so, but some like this one tonight actually both episodes really stood out, Brilliant!
