by Hasan Minhaj continues the hot streak for comedians this TV pilot season, as he just landed a recurring role in the new ABC Family sitcom, State of Georgia, which premieres June 29.
The sitcom stars Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress in NYC. Co-stars include Majandra Delfino and Loretta Devine. Minhaj will play Seth, a physics grad student at Columbia University.
Minhaj also has a gig as part of the cast of the new season of MTV's Disaster Date, which premiered earlier this week. And his comedy album, “Leaning on Expensive Cars and Getting Paid To Do It” is available on iTunes:
