As the first Hysterical Festival celebrates women in comedy by putting on multiple shows in New York City this weekend, a group of NYC-based female comedians are getting ready to spread their comedy around the country. Why? Because they’re The Obama Girls of Comedy (not to be confused with the "Obama Girl"), and they want the nation to know that they’re women who tell jokes and support Obama for President, that’s why. Who are they? Susannah Perlman, Carolyn Castiglia, Claudia Cogan, Calise Hawkins, and Giulia Rozzi. And where can you see them?
