It was another great night both for Jordan Peele and HBO as the awards season swung through the Writers Guild of America on Sunday night.

Peele won for Original Screenplay for his first feature film, Get Out, while HBO played host to the writers for both Best Comedy Series, Veep, and best comedy/variety talk series, Last Week Tonight.

Patton Oswalt once again hosted for the WGA West ceremonies, while on the East Coast, Amber Ruffin held those honors.

Kathy Griffin also showed up as a presenter and chewed out the writers in attendance for not supporting her in 2017 after her Trump stunt went awry.
