Getting the gang back together proved so much fun last year, why not do it all again?
That’s the spirit! Netflix announced today that Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later will come to its streaming screens much sooner than later — with an eight-episode order set to premiere in 2017.
Netflix teased it perfectly, using a scene from the end of the original 2001 film in which Bradley Cooper’s character suggests the 10-year reunion. Roll the clip!
Of course, the movie itself imagined what that reunion would look like in a bonus post-credits scene.
And the First Day at Camp eight-episode of prequel that debuted on Netflix in 2015 hilariously had fun with how much the actors and actresses had aged, even though they were now playing so much younger. Michael Showalter especially? Showalter and Michael Ian Black already turned today’s announcement into a funny joke in itself.
Am I in this? Why is this the first I'm hearing about this? What the fuck??? https://t.co/IPgNvMeJq2
