by In 2019, rapper and movie star Will Smith crossed stand-up comedy off of his “Bucket List” by performing at a gig for his Facebook Watch series. Later that year, Smith also met up with several stand-ups to hang with them for a would-be Quibi series, This Joka, which has yet to make the jump to Roku Originals?!
Regardless, sometime later this year, 2021, we’ll get to see Smith do some comedy while also showing off his other skills, as Netflix announced it has booked him for a comedy variety special.
From the streaming giant: “Launching later this year, the hourlong special will include celebrity guests, noteworthy conversation, comedic sketches, musical performances, and more.”
Who else is on the bill? No word on that just yet.
