Bobby Moynihan’s extended improvisations from SNL’s “12 Years A Slave” auditions sketch

Saturday Night Live just released an extended blooper reel of sorts, as it shows the extended takes of Bobby Moynihan’s scenes in the 12 Years A Slave audition sketch video.

Worth it just for the priceless laughing and smiling fits it brings on in Vanessa Bayer as one of the casting agents.

Also for Moynihan pre-emptively apologizing to Jay Pharoah, who played the cameraman. How’d you like to be asked to improvise racism?!

Cecily Strong manages to keep a straight face, which is probably a good indicator of why she’s the one Lorne Michaels tapped to take over the Weekend Update anchor desk last fall.

Roll the clip!
