Paul Mecurio on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

It has been a while since you saw Stephen Colbert onstage while a stand-up comedian performed on The Late Show. Normally, they’ve filmed stand-ups in separate bunches for a separate audience, then stitched each comedian into an episode when they could schedule them. But Paul Mecurio isn’t any comedian. He’s also the long-time warm-up comedian for Colbert’s Late Show. So he got the special treatment again Monday night, where he joked about his parents dressing up him as a hobo for Halloween back in the day, and about how he met Sir Paul McCartney.
