Zach Zucker is wearing many hats at the Fringe.
Zucker’s production company, Stamptown, is helping run multiple shows in Edinburgh this month. He’s hosting a late-night variety showcase (Stamptown Comedy Night) over the next three weekends, in addition to performing as one of the world’s worst stand-ups, Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour. As Zucker, though, he claims he’s trying to be more authentically himself. Or at least the complete polar opposite of “Jack Turner.”
So who, then, is Zach Zucker?
A bisexual song-and-dance clown, ably enabled by a keyboardist on the side and summarily flummoxed by his tech guy in the back of the house. A loosey-goosey guy who’ll go with the flow, even when the flow won’t go. Sometimes you just need an hour of pure silliness in your day.
For that, Zucker will provide.
