Comedians Nominated for Best Comedy Album at 2021 Grammy Awards

Despite all of my funny friends who recorded funny albums and submitted them for consideration by the Grammy Awards, the big-time awards continue to only have room for the big names in comedy.

But there will be no four-peat by Dave Chappelle. His only release this year was via YouTube. Chappelle won the category in 2020, 2019 and 2018.

Who is nominated for Best Comedy Album this year? 2017’s winner, Patton Oswalt, plus past nominee Jim Gaffigan, Jerry Seinfeld, and “newcomers” Bill Burr and Tiffany Haddish. Congrats to all! The winners will be announced Jan. 31, 2021, on CBS.

 Best Comedy Album
For albums containing at least 51% playing time of new recordings.

  • BLACK MITZVAH, Tiffany Haddish

  • I LOVE EVERYTHING, Patton Oswalt

  • THE PALE TOURIST, Jim Gaffigan

  • PAPER TIGER, Bill Burr

  • 23 HOURS TO KILL, Jerry Seinfeld

  1. Good afternoon,

I’m Buck Chanzana, a Canadian comedian who just released a sketch comedy album. Being a reviewer and proponent of great comedy that you are, I know a few of these bits will titillate and entertain you in all the right ways.

Please check out any or all of the album at the link below. Trapadoor trap doors, bad boy Chester and the horse race are a few of my favourites.

Let me know what you think and if you’d like to use any of it in your dispensation of comedy education.

    Warm, sweaty regards,

    Buck Chanzana
