Daniel Tosh’s Tosh.0 is not leaving Comedy Central anytime soon

Comedy Central is keeping Daniel Tosh around for another four seasons and more, with a new overall deal that includes at least 80 more episodes over four seasons of Tosh.0, plus a first-look deal for new scripted and unscripted development for Tosh as well as other talent.

That means Tosh.0, which premiered in 2009, will go at least 16 seasons.

“I’m very excited and grateful!” Tosh said. “I just wish my parents got to see me reach this level of success. They’re both still alive, but they only have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Apple TV, and Quibi.”

“It is a testament to Daniel’s creative genius and expertise as a producer that he can keep a series thriving for 16 seasons while juggling stand-up projects, touring, and new-series development” said  Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen, Co-Heads of Original Content. “Through this Tosh.0 extension and first-look deal with Daniel, we are excited to keep working with him for years to come.”

The deal also gives the show dedicated channels on both Pluto TV and YouTube.

The show remains a hit on Tuesday nights for men aged 18-34, and in the past year, grew its followings by hundreds of thousands on Instagram.
