Highlights from the final rounds of Bring The Funny’s “comedy clashes”

NBC’s new comedy competition series, Bring The Funny, is almost ready to give viewers a chance to decide who we think is bringing said funny.

Tuesday night’s episode saw the third and final round of “comedy clashes,” in which two similar comedy acts had to face-off in brief sets for the judges: Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen and Jeff Foxworthy.

The comedy clashes winnowed the field from 24 acts to 12. Tune-in next week on Tuesday, August 27 for the first Semi-Final Showcase. In this round, the first group of six remaining acts perform, with the judges picking two acts to move onto the live finale for a chance of winning the $250,000 grand prize. Viewers will get to choose one eliminated semi-finalist to return to the competition, perform in the live finale and still be in the running to become the first ever winner of Bring the Funny.

In last night’s episode, the judges picked these four acts to advance into the semis.
