Avalon inks deal with Amazon for six British-based Prime Video stand-up specials in 2019

Amazon’s Prime Video push into branding its own stand-up comedy specials continues with a massive launch-month effort. Adding to what’s already coming in August, Amazon now will premiere four new hours from British comedy acts, thanks to a deal with Avalon. Amazon Originals from Chris Ramsey, Ed Gamble, Flo & Joan and Paul Chowdhry launching Monday, Aug. 19, 2019.
