Adam Sandler’s Saturday Night Live monologue, return of Opera Man, and his Chris Farley song

Adam Sandler finally returned to Saturday Night Live to host the show that made him a star in the early 1990s.

Sandler joked about having to explain to his kids that he’d gotten fired from SNL in 1995. With a little help from his friends, including Chris Rock!

Fans hoping for the return of some of the Sand-man’s SNL characters had to wade through a “Sandler Family Reunion” sketch to see other cast members impersonate Sandler’s characters (including appearances by Kristen Wiig and Jimmy Fallon), but not until Weekend Update did we get treated to the return of Opera Man.

Sandler also performed his musical tribute to Chris Farley, which earned extra cheers inside 30 Rock.

  1. If the video is only available to people in the USA, it would be nice to have that indicated in text rather than having to click to get error message, when only living ten miles from the border, agrh. Comedy has no borders…
