Super Deluxe the website has died a second time. Turner shuttered the company’s digital comedy pursuit, again; this time, on Oct. 19, 2018, in the wake of the big AT&T merger/acquisition of Time Warner. Boston’s Improv Asylum has opened up in the former UCB Theater home in NYC

A year after the Upright Citizens Brigade left Chelsea to move their NYC theater up 16 blocks to Hells Kitchen, there’s improv and sketch comedy afoot underneath Gristedes once more. Improv Asylum, based in Boston for 20 years, reopened the joint last weekend. They’re currently offering shows only on Friday and Saturday nights from its NYC Mainstage cast, at $15 per ticket.
