Ellen DeGeneres touring West Coast in August to tape Netflix special

Ellen DeGeneres, the reigning queen of daytime TV, is finally ready to record her first stand-up comedy special in 15 years.

DeGeneres will hit the road for a limited West Coast tour in August, with three dates each in San Diego and San Francisco before taping her performances in Seattle for Netflix.

Although DeGeneres tapes witty monologues daily for her syndicated talk show and has filmed multiple variety specials for TBS, this will be her first solo stand-up special since her 2003 HBO hour: Here and Now.

Tickets are onsale this week for her August 2018 tour, including the two Netflix tapings in Seattle, via Live Nation.

  1. Is there a special discounted parking venue for the Garden show this year? Last year we parked at Etihad & caught a shuttle bus over to the show & returned back to our parking.
