Norman Lear hosts a podcast now: “All of the Above” on PodcastOne

At 94, comedy legend Norman Lear is just now joining the podcast fray with his own talk show, “All of the Above,” which debuted today on PodcastOne. Lear’s first episode welcomed guest Amy Poehler to talk about her upcoming movie with Will Ferrell, The House. Paul Hipp not only wrote the song for Lear’s podcast theme music, but also serves as Lear’s sidekick on the podcast. Upcoming guests will include Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jerrod Carmichael. Canada’s Baroness von Sketch Show will come to America via IFC

Baroness von Sketch Show has won multiple Canadian Screen Awards, and now their sketch comedy will cross the border to America thanks to IFC. IFC announced it has acquired the CBC sketch comedy series and will air 13 episodes of the first two seasons later this summer. Carolyn Taylor, Meredith MacNeill, Aurora Browne and Jennifer Whalen star in Baroness von Sketch Show, a single-cam satire. Its members came out of Second City.
