Watch the performances from Comedy Central’s “Goddamn Comedy Jam”

In case you missed it over the weekend, Comedy Central debuted the first-ever televised edition of The Goddamn Comedy Jam, the live concert held monthly in Los Angeles. Comedians tell stories and stand-up jokes that relate to a song of their choosing, then belt out that song with a full band, The Goddamn Band, and host Josh Adam Meyers. R.I.P. Gene Wilder (1933-2016)

Gene Wilder, the wonderfully witty actor who shined in several Mel Brooks films and captivated children of all ages as Willy Wonka, has died from complications with Alzheimer’s. Wilder was 83. His mother sent him to a private military academy in Hollywood. After graduating with a communication and theater degree from the University of Iowa, Wilder studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England, returning less than a year later to study...

Preview the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe

The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe hates Ann Coulter so much more than anyone else, the website doesn’t even include her in its photo gallery of dais participants! You also may have seen Godfrey in memorable roles on the big screen in Zoolander, Soul Plane and Johnson Family Vacation, or the small screen as the 7-Up spokesman, multiple episodes of Louie, and before all of that, a Bravo reality show...

Jeff Foxworthy on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show under Jimmy Fallon has demonstrated a comforting throwback trend when it comes to stand-up comedy, in allowing or convincing (whatever the case may be) stand-up comedians to actually perform a few minutes onstage proper instead of (but also in addition to) sitting on the panel to chat with Fallon to promote their latest specials. Latest case in point: Jeff Foxworthy, who just put out a new Netflix comedy special with Larry the Cable Guy. Foxworthy did retell part of his closer while sitting with Fallon, hinting about the pains of passing a kidney stone. But he...
