Here are the independent comedy pilots accepted into the 2016 New York Television Festival (NYTVF)

The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) announced today that it’d accepted a record 63 independent pilots for its TV and digital consideration this fall. “We were blown away by the talent and creativity of this year’s submissions – across the board it was a record-setting year and we had an extremely difficult task in identifying the competition slate. Comedy Central cancels “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore”

The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore will be no more after this week. Comedy Central has canceled the late-night satire series after a year and a half. It’s last episode will air Thursday.
