Tape Face — aka The Boy With Tape On His Face — won the Panel Award at Edinburgh Fringe in 2012, and has won multiple awards from Chortle and from the Adelaide Fringe. Kids say the darnedest things if they can memorize them. And America’s Got Talent had no shame opening its 2016 season with a 6-year-old kid telling jokes. Meet Nathan Bockstahler. He’s cute. Toronto’s JFL42 2016 includes Jim Gaffigan, Tig Notaro, Trevor Noah, Jim Jefferies, Roseanne Barr, Anthony Jeselnik, Demetri Martin and Chris D’Elia

Just For Laughs has announced the lineup for its fifth annual edition of JFL42, a 42-show headliner stand-up comedy festival held at the end of September in Toronto. Getting top billing in 2016? Remembering Dan Mer: The tempest of the Tempe Improv

Dan Mer wanted nothing to do with me at first. What’s in a name, anyhow?
