Comedy Central announces slew of renewals, extensions for series into 2016

Comedy Central officially announced renewals or episode extensions for much of its current programming slate, just two days ahead of its annual Upfronts presentation to advertisers. Rookie sensation Not Safe with Nikki Glaser (reviewed here) receives 10 additional episodes, extending its first season through the summer. Originally the first season was going to end in April to coincide with Glaser’s first hour stand-up special on the network. Now it’ll return in June for 10 more weeks. Adam Sandler going on mini stand-up tour with David Spade, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider and friends

Netflix is celebrating the second of its exclusive movies starring Adam Sandler by having the star head out for a mini stand-up comedy tour in May with his co-stars and comedy buddies. Sandler will be joined on tour by David Spade, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider and special guests for seven nights in seven cities on “The Do-Over Tour.” Tickets will become available for selected pre-sales on Wednesday via Ticketmaster.
