Whitney Cummings filming HBO stand-up special, comedy pilot in 2015

Whitney Cummings is getting back in front of the cameras by 2016, inking a new deal with HBO for a stand-up comedy special to film this fall and a sitcom pilot based on Maureen Dowd’s book, Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide. Marty Callner will direct the Cummings stand-up special this fall during her current tour, with plans for HBO to air it next year. It’s official: Full House reboot/sequel “Fuller House” coming to Netflix

Two decades after we last said goodbye to Full House, they’re all coming back. Well, maybe not the Olsen twins. But everybody else.
