Judd Apatow will stream his next TV series for at least two seasons on Netflix: “Love,” starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust

Netflix announced today a two-season commitment to a new comedy series, Love, created, written and produced by Judd Apatow, Paul Rust and Lesley Arfin. Love stars Rust (I Love You, Beth Cooper; Inglorious Basterds) and Gillian Jacobs (Community) as a couple navigating the ups and downs of romance. It’ll debut in 2016 with 10 half-hour episodes, with another 12 episodes to follow in 2017. “I am thrilled,” Apatow told The Comic’s Comic. “Netflix already gave us more episodes than we got for Freaks and Geeks or Undeclared. Bill Maher’s “Live from D.C.” pulls in best HBO comedy special ratings since 2009

Bill Maher‘s double-duty live stunt on HBO did the trick, at least ratings-wise. Maher hosted a special edition of his weekly Real Time talk show on Friday night from Washington, D.C., immediately followed by a stand-up special, Bill Maher: Live from D.C. HBO reports 1.6 million viewers watched it either live on Friday or on the replay later overnight.
