Comedy Dynamics uploading entire stand-up comedy archives to new Hulu channel

Hulu is getting a stand-up comedy boost as its streaming options soon will boast the archived collection from New Wave Entertainment‘s stand-up special catalogue. The Comedy Dynamics channel will debut July 29 on Hulu, with specials both on the free service as well as the paid Hulu Plus subscription package. “As the largest producer of high end stand-up comedy in the U.S., we wanted to seek out a partner that had the reach and respect we feel our artists deserve. FXX to launch complete 552-episode marathon of The Simpsons plus the movie

If you’re looking to join the completists who claim to have watched every episode of The Simpsons at least once, then you best prepare yourself for Aug. 21, 2014. That’s when FXX will start a marathon that airs all 25 seasons of The Simpsons in chronological order — with The Simpsons Movie airing after episode 400, then resuming until all 552 episodes have aired. Two Years Later: Caleb Medley on video, rehabbing at home after Aurora shooting

Two years ago, Caleb Medley was just another aspiring stand-up comedian and Batman fan taking his wife to a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises. Medley was caught in the crossfire of a massacre at that July 20, 2012, screening in Aurora, Colo., shot in the head and eye. A dozen other movie patrons died that night.
