TruTV unveiled the first look at upcoming sketch comedy series Friends of the People today as part of the cable channel’s turn in the summer press tour for the TV Critics Association. It’ll debut Oct. 28, 2014, with a blend of pop-culture sketches, man-on-the-street segments and more.
