A message from Pete Holmes on the cancellation of The Pete Holmes Show on TBS

TBS announced today that it would not be renewing The Pete Holmes Show for a third cycle — a 13-week run ends on June 18, 2014, with all of the remaining episodes already pre-taped. It debuted last fall on a seven-week trial basis. The half-hour mix of monologue, sketches, edited interviews in the field and in studio, and stand-up comedy aired at midnight (Eastern/Pacific) Mondays-Thursdays following Conan. “We recognize Pete as one of the most relevant comedians working today,” TBS said in a statement, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. “We loved the show and gave it two chances,...

DeRosa jokes here about Girl Scout Cookies, Taco Bell and more. But it’s basic cable, so DeRosa can let loose. Roll the clip! DeRosa also enjoyed a quick chat with Holmes afterward, remembering when they first met, and how...

Will Ferrell’s drum-off with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on The Tonight Show

Look at this photo and tell me which drummer is comedian Will Ferrell and which drummer is Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Exactly. The two men finally faced off in a drum-off on Thursday night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, all for charity and arranged via Funny or Die (where Ferrell has more than a rooting business interest). This is like a scene from Step Brothers meets Twins. More cowbell? MORE COWBELL! Roll the clips! More behind-the-scenes action at Funny or...
