Work stoppage threatens Last Comic Standing’s post-production editing (editors receive union contract!)

Producers of NBC’s Last Comic Standing hope to resolve a work stoppage that left them without their editing crew Monday when they walked off the job, seeking a union contract. “We’re union supporters, so we’re confident it’ll be worked out to everyone’s satisfaction,” producers told The Comic’s Comic on Tuesday. Bill Cosby to receive Receive Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence at 2014 “American Comedy Awards”

The American Comedy Awards will return to network TV in May with one more big name to be feted, announcing late Monday the ceremony would give Bill Cosby the Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence.
