D.L. Hughley and Michael Ian Black a dynamic dueling duo in TBS very funny “Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host”

In case you missed it, TBS unveiled a game-show concept last night that actually fits the cable network’s motto of “very funny.” In fact, Michael Ian Black and D.L. Hughley are so refreshingly and wickedly witty, slinging barbs at each other throughout the half-hour, that the actual “game show” element of Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host almost doesn’t matter. Of course, don’t tell that to the real-life contestants, who play with their own trust issues for a chance to win upward of $35,000. Comedian Kenneth “KD” Brown, 40, killed trying to stop Vegas nightclub gunman

Kenneth Brown, who went by Kd Brown on Facebook and KD, K.D. or Kenny Brown elsewhere, was killed early Monday morning after tacking a shooter wreaking havoc inside the nightclub of the Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Brown was 40. He’d recently moved to Vegas from Los Angeles. Bally’s has a comedy club inside the resort casino (L.A. Naturally, Simmons also is one of those Australian comedians who made a name for himself in the U.K. before putting himself before American audiences now. Then again, nature abhors a vacuum. As do many dogs. So what does it mean to translate a live show that’s heavy on interaction and audience intimacy, putting it on a larger stage with television cameras intruding upon the intimacy? Can the audience members forget they’re on TV for a second and live...

Ron Burgundy’s Scotchy Scotch Scotch, available for a limited time in the United States and Canada, is a butterscotch ice cream with butterscotch swirls, and a promotional tie-in for the upcoming Will Ferrell-Adam McKay movie sequel, Anchorman 2. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues opens in cinemas this Christmas. How does Ben & Jerry’s decide which comedians to get behind, flavor-wise? Good question! Glad I asked. Over at @benandjerrys, the Twitter handle...
