Bill Engvall’s first week on Season 17 of Dancing With The Stars

Each season, ABC’s Dancing With The Stars reliably has at least one designated comedian among the dancers — of course, there are usually more than that who prove to be jokes as contestants. And in Season 17, which began last week, stand-up comedian Bill Engvall is that dancer. Engvall survived the first elimination at the end of Monday night’s show, barely beating out former Pro Bowl wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson. Earlier last night, Engvall and his partner Emma Slater danced the jive. The judges and the audience loved it; judges lobbing adjectives like “fun” and “fantastic” and “best of...

Zach Sherwin’s response to Jay-Z’s “Tom Ford” with additional rhymes on Totally Biased

Oh, snap. Zach Sherwin, comedian and hip-hop rhymer, returned to Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on Monday night and presented Jay-Z with the rap battle he didn’t see coming. TBS offers a “Sneak Pete” at The Pete Holmes Show

If you tuned in last night to Conan’s special Breaking Bad episode, then perhaps you noticed that TBS offered what the network called a “Sneak Pete” at its upcoming late-night series, The Pete Holmes Show. And what a delightfully odd duck of a preview it was. Roll the clip! Fans of Holmes from olden times will recognize this awkwardly silent sketch as a continuation of the amusing work done by Holmes and his Front Page Films friends. That’s Matt McCarthy as the bar customer. Here’s a more traditional promo clip, with Holmes mixing it up with Conan O’Brien. The...
