Jim Meskimen auditions with impersonations on America’s Got Talent

Bet you didn’t think your nerd love for Parks and Recreation would come in handy while watching auditions for NBC’s America’s Got Talent, did you?

Blink last night and you might have missed Jim Meskimen.

Meskimen successfully auditioned on last night’s episode of AGT with impersonations of Robert DeNiro, Robin Williams and Ricky Gervais. Voices are his strong suit — he has been providing voice-over work for TV series and video games since the 1990s, and Jib Jab videos more recently. And eagle-eyed watchers of Parks and Rec might even recognize Meskimen as Pawnee’s resident MC, Martin Housely. If not before, now you do.

Roll the clip and stay tuned to see how far he goes on the show.

And because you made it this far, here’s a video Meskimen shot from the set of Parks and Rec earlier this year — with appearances by Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson), James Green (Councilman Milton) and Jay Jackson (Perd Hapley).
