In case you’re missing it, TBS Just For Laughs Chicago began its weeklong run with shows earlier this week — but you don’t have to be in Chicago to enjoy and experience some of the laughs with your own eyes and ears. The Dailymotion Comedy Showcases began last night and continue each night through Saturday, hosted by Andy Daly (HBO’s Eastbound & Down, the upcoming Review with Forest MacNeil for Comedy Central) at 7 p.m. Central. IFC renews Portlandia for seasons 4-5, recruits James Carville to “Put an Emmy on It”

IFC announced yesterday that it’ll keep Fred Armisen plenty busy for his first two years post-SNL, renewing his pre-taped sketch comedy series with Carrie Brownstein — Portlandia — for seasons four and five. The additional 10-episode seasons will air in early 2014 and 2015. “Portlandia has celebrated sustainable local agriculture, underemployment, avian crafting, gender politics, intense bicycle messengers and so much more,” said Jennifer Caserta, president and general manager of IFC.  “We can now celebrate two more seasons.” Portlandia already has won the Peabody Award and WGA honors.
