Comedy Central continued its recent tradition of hosting its own variation on a “New Faces” showcase during the New York Comedy Festival. Comedy Central calls it “Comics To Watch,” and offers up the entire live show online — in 2012, Owen Benjamin hosted (a late substitute due to the Nor’easter snowstorm that blew into NYC last Wednesday). Darryl Lenox on his “Blind Ambition” and reaching for the Starz

For Darryl Lenox, hindsight was 20/20. An incident in his young adult life left Lenox almost permanently and completely blind, and the comedian discusses it as well as his path to regaining sight in his new stand-up special, Blind Ambition, which debuted over the weekend on Starz.
