Help comedian/husband/father Caleb Medley, shooting victim from Aurora massacre

This is what aspiring stand-up comedian Caleb Medley looks like on his home page. But this (right) is what Medley looked like today, lying in a coma in University Hospital in Aurora, Colo., with a gunshot wound to his eye and head. Medley, 23, was one of the dozens of victims of the massacre that played out during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises early Friday. None of those Saturday Night Live or movie characters ever lived in a van, down by the river. None were able to make such a lasting impression in their debut that they would appear eight times on SNL. None of those characters were motivational speaker Matt Foley. On Friday night’s Late...

Instead, focus on this fact: Every comic-book superhero has to face a villain, and each of these villains speaks in witty tongues. How do they do it? And how would they fare in an improv comedy class? That’s the subject of this video from Jest (a recently new side venture from the folks at CollegeHumor), which finds Magneto, Loki and other villains joining other would-be improvisers at a comedy class...
