FX orders sitcom starring and created by Jim Jefferies

Can Jim Jefferies go Legit? We’ll get to see him try over at least 13 episodes in 2013, as FX has ordered a sitcom (or “scripted comedy series,” as cable channels tend to describe them in their press releases) co-created by the Australian stand-up comedian. Fuse orders music-themed comedy clip show hosted by Mike E. Winfield

Music cable channel Fuse is adding to its comedy lineup with the order yesterday of 12 episodes of Off Beat, a clip series hosted by stand-up comedian Mike E. Winfield. The series will debut later this summer. It’s already taping shows before live audiences this month in El Segundo, Calif. Winfield will showcase a half-hour of funny and crazy music-themed videos as well as viewer-created online clips.
