Community comes back from a brief hiatus this Thursday (March 15, 2012) to NBC’s lineup, and if you live in or near New York City, you can watch it live along with Jeff Winger himself. Joel McHale is performing one-night-only at Carolines on Broadway that night, with shows at 7 and 10 p.m. The 7 p.m. show will stop his stand-up precisely at 8:00 to screen the episode, “Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts.” No word on whether McHale will provide live commentary during it, or afterward. BBC Radio to try U.S. version of “The News Quiz,” hosted by Lewis Black

You may be familiar with the NPR quiz-show staple, “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me.” But in Britain, they’d already been having fun with the news on a weekly basis for two decades before “Wait Wait” with “The News Quiz.” And with the 2012 U.S. Presidential campaign hitting full stride, the BBC has decided to try out an American version of its long-running news quiz satire programme.
