Zach Galifianakis makes the late-night rounds for “Puss in Boots”

Puss in Boots is an animated movie spinoff from the Shrek franchise, and somehow, it managed to find a voice role for Zach Galifianakis, which means he made the late-night TV rounds (Hollywood edition) to help promote the film.

First he showed up at Jimmy Kimmel Live. Wherein he discusses celebrating his birthday with a New Yorker magazine Q&A, and answers to his much different high-school yearbook look. Roll it!

In part two, he talks about his earliest memories of deciding he wanted to be a comedian. And also a true story about mishaps on his North Carolina farm. Don’t worry. “Everything’s fine.”

Wait. Why is Kimmel waiting until his 15th appearance on the program to ask such personal questions about his early years? Hmmm. Roll it anyhow. Also, apparently, Galifianakis is portraying Humpty Dumpty. Non-broken egg edition.

The following night, Galifianakis broke through the desk on Conan to make a dramatic entry. Spoiler alert!
