FXX and The Simpsons launch Simpsons World app for all-access to #EverySimpsonsEver

If you missed out on FXX’s #EverySimpsonsEver marathon, or missed watching every episode of The Simpsons the first time it aired, then now you can catch up with any episode, anytime, as FX Networks is unveiling its “Simpsons World” app and experience today.

SimpsonsWorld.com asks for authentication this morning, but soon, you’ll have it. And more. Like everything more.

Clips, trivia, and instant and on-demand access to every single episode — all 552 episodes from the first 25 seasons — and every new episode the day after it originally broadcasts on FOX, either online at SimpsonsWorld.com or via the FXNOW app for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Xbox One, Xbox 360, AppleTV, and Samsung Smart TVs.

“We are thrilled to offer Simpsons fans a rich and immersive experience unlike any other,” said Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks. “Featuring an unprecedented amount of digital content at their fingertips, ‘Simpsons World’ allows users to engage with this beloved property in a whole new way and we’re excited to see how this dynamic experience is embraced by fans.”

The Simpsons is one of the greatest shows ever made and our goal was to create a site that pays homage to this classic iconic brand while delivering a rich, personal experience,” said Stephanie Gibbons, President of Marketing and On-Air Promotions, FX Networks. “Fans will be able to seamlessly move in and out of the deepest digital archive of any TV series online ever – wherever they are and however they want – and dive deeper into this colorful world through many additional features built into this site.”

“Hello ‘Simpsons World,’ goodbye free time! Seriously,” said Simpsons executive producer and showrunner Al Jean.

As you can see from the homepage image above, there’s a lot in which to immerse yourself.

Including:

  • The Simpsons Heartbeat, organizing episodes by popularity
  • Everything Simpsons, a newsfeed with social media updates and latest changes to the universe
  • Search capabilities to find whatever clip or episode you’re seeking
  • And in 2015, the site/app plans to improve the searching function to include every word of dialogue. D’oh!
