When Vince Vaughn guest hosted Late Show with David Letterman in 2003

Everybody else already has rushed into the digital fray with their own Top 10 lists of who should or who might or who will replace David Letterman when Dave retires from the Late Show on CBS next year, in 2015.

I’m just going to leave this here and remind you of Vince Vaughn, 44, and how he fared when he guest-hosted for Letterman 11 years ago at age 33. Time for a new regime, Vaughn joked up top. This guy was money then. So smooth.

I’ll give you a separate list and rundown of other candidates who aren’t all white guys who could have the next late-night TV show on CBS, but for now, just enjoy this, would you please?
