Review: Adam Devine, “Best Time of Our Lives” on Netflix

About 20 minutes into his first hourlong stand-up comedy special, Adam Devine jokes about his love for capes, and imagines wearing one for this taping but never mentioning it.

Spoiler alert: He not only mentions the cape some more, but also sports it at the very end. Ta-Dah!

What’s weirder to me, though, is that for his Netflix stand-up debut, Best Time of Our Lives, Devine goes back to his hometown of Omaha, and talks extensively about his childhood, yet never mentions that he’s from Omaha.

Ta-dah?!
