Dave Chappelle announces limited Broadway run for July 2019 at Lunt-Fontanne

Dave Chappelle already is winning the Mark Twain Prize this year.

Why not also make his Broadway debut?

Chappelle will perform five nights this July at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater on West 46th Street (capacity just over 1,500). He has previously sold out lengthier runs at the larger Radio City Music Hall.

Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway, July 9–13, 2019, is produced by Live Nation, The Araca Group, and EBG (Entertainment Benefits Group).

Tickets go on sale to the general public June 21 through TicketMaster.com.

The Lunt-Fontanne is hosting an In Residence on Broadway series. Others in the series include Mel Brooks June 17–18, Regina Spektor June 20–26, and illusionist Criss Angel set for July 2–7. Barry Manilow will follow Chappelle there from July 26–August 17.
