Minneapolis Comedy Festival will debut in June 2019

The first Minneapolis Comedy Festival will kick off during the final week of June with a lineup that includes Bob Newhart, Seth Meyers, George Lopez, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, and YouTubers Rhett and Link.

Here are the shows already on sale.

Not yet on sale: The June 28 performances by Seth Meyers at Pantages Theatre, and by the trio of Lopez, Cedric and Hughley at State Theatre.

Outback Presents, which produces the Nashville Comedy Festival, is behind the Minneapolis effort this year: “We’re proud of what we’ve built in Nashville and are thrilled to bring a successful and proven format to Minneapolis,” Outback’s director of live entertainment Andrew Farwell said in a news release.

I’ll include the festival info on my updated lists, too!
