Freestyle Love Supreme opens Academy to offer improv comedy training

There’s a new school in town for aspiring comedy improvisers. And it comes courtesy of the hip-hop musical comedy troupe Freestyle Love Supreme, best known for what its co-creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and director Thomas Kail have gone on to accomplish on Broadway. Review: Tone Bell, “Can’t Cancel This” on Showtime

In real life, Tone Bell’s not engaged nor married yet, but just like in Fam, he’s the product of a happily-married couple. Being an adult only child, with no kids of his own, might make Christmas awkward, but it allows Bell to lavish himself with all of the things he couldn’t necessarily enjoy when he was growing up.
